I hope you’ll relate to my journey, as I too once struggled with weight before becoming a lifestyle & weight management coach.

As a teenager, I really struggled with my weight. You can probably relate; I was really just a young girl trying her hardest to keep up with unrealistic beauty standards. It’s only so much before you get stuck in a cycle of frustration and self-doubt. In the end, my mental health took a hit, leaving me feeling defeated and unhappy.

I thought being an adult would solve that, and it did for a while. I was at a satisfactory weight, petite, and 5’21/2 inches tall, feeling healthy and vibrant. Throughout adulthood, I wasn’t overweight but not really fit either. Yet, I felt good.

But as I grew older, I noticed my energy levels dropping and my weight slowly creeping up. Trust me, I didn’t feel too positive at all. I found myself struggling with weight, not being as fit as I could be, low energy, and feeling stuck. Sigh. To make it worse, work and house chores kept me too busy to exercise.

But one day, I had had enough. I came to realize that it’s not solely about the numbers on the scale; it’s about how I feel. I shouldn’t feel out of breath after just a few flights of stairs. I knew I was better than this. There had to be a simpler way to make sure I remained healthy and active so I could live a much more fulfilling life.

I began my journey with simple exercises, tracking my progress, and steadily increasing my reps. Over time, I added more exercises to my routine, enhancing my fitness level even further. By incorporating healthier eating habits, I shed all the unwanted extra pounds and became fitter than ever. I transformed my well-being, eliminating all aches and pains from my body. Inspired by my success, I pursued a lifestyle & weight management certification to empower other women to lead healthier, more vibrant lives.

Today, my story proves that any woman after 40 can lead a healthy lifestyle with a gradual & sustainable weight loss approach.

So I don’t know your weight loss experience, but if you don’t feel good about your body and are struggling with Weight Loss, I urge you to start with small exercises and remain consistent.
